California seems to be getting closer and closer to legalizing pot. This November Californians will head to the polls and decide whether to make the recreational use of Marijuana legal for its citizens.
The state was the first to legalize the drug for medical reasons in 1996, and since then 14 other states have joined in. The repeal of prohibition occurred during tough economic times because the government realized it could make huge profits off the taxing of alcohol sales. Could Marijuana be next?
